Privacy notice

This site publishes information about businesses, not about private individuals. This notice explains what personal data may still be involved and your rights under the GDPR.

Business listings

Names, addresses, coordinates, opening hours, phone numbers, websites and social links come from OpenStreetMap and from each business's own public website. Where a business is a sole trader, some of this (for example a phone number or a personal name used as a trading name) can be personal data. Our basis for publishing it is legitimate interest: it is already public, published by the business itself for the purpose of being contacted, and listing it helps people find local services. You can ask us to remove or correct any detail at any time.

Emails you send us

If you email us to claim, correct or feature a listing, we keep the correspondence for as long as the listing exists so we can show what was requested and by whom. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your details.

Analytics and cookies

The site sets no cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested. The server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time, browser) for up to 30 days for security.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold, and object to our processing of it. Email hello@dublinfavourites.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.
